Pawsitively Purrfect will arrive as close to the scheduled appointment time as possible. However, many factors such as weather, traffic, and condition of each pet may set us ahead or behind. We will never jeopardize the safety or well-being of our clients or stylists by rushing through an appointment. We give an approximate time frame of when we will arrive; if this changes by much, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Your pet’s safety is our number one concern. Please make us aware of any allergies, sensitivities, pre-existing medical conditions, or fears such as having their nails trimmed prior to us beginning your pet’s groom so we can avoid aggravating these situations. Please also let us know of any prior grooming experienced you or your pet may not have found satisfactory so we can avoid repetition of these poor or unpleasant experiences.
We understand that some pets are extremely sensitive to certain grooming procedures such as: trimming nails, cleaning ears, or relieving anal glands. It is not our intent to cause any discomfort to your pet. Although these are routine procedures performed for the well-being of the pet, we will not continue with any procedure that will cause pain or discomfort to the pet. Sometimes, for the overly sensitive pet, these procedures are best left to the care of a veterinarian.
Pawsitively Purrfect will not perform excessive de-matting. Excessive de-matting is a painful, time consuming, and costly procedure that causes extreme discomfort and can aggravate (or cause) skin problems. This is a total contradiction to the stress free philosophy of mobile grooming. Sometimes the pet is so badly matted that the hair must be completely clipped off, allowing new, healthy hair to grow. Excessive matting can be avoided with regular brushing and grooming and we will be happy to show you some brushing techniques for mat prevention.
Although most pets are very well behaved, not all are “perfect angels.” We understand this and welcome meeting these different personalities as part of our job. However, for the benefit of all involved, we will not provide services for vicious or aggressive attitudes and we reserve the right to refuse service to these pets.
Pawsitively Purrfect stands behind the services performed 150%. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the pet styling services you received, please notify us within 24 hours of your appointment. We do not offer refunds; however, if there is anything we can do to resolve your issue or concern, we will do it!
Your pet’s health, comfort, and safety are our primary concerns. Please take a moment to look over our “policies” which help ensure a positive experience. Please contact us if you have any questions. Pets will not be groomed until your signature is received agreeing to these policies. We can provide them in advance via email. If we show up to groom your dog and you refuse to provide your signature, your pet will not be groomed and you will be responsible for paying for your appointment time.
